With one of the programmable logic control trainers or using your own PLC and the Process Sims Simulator you can have a complete system. Each Process Sims simulation is a ‘virtual machine’ for you to program. The simulation runs on your PC and communicates serially with your PLC. Along with the real I/O's you can have several real machine applications.

Each Process Sims CD contains seven simulated processes:

  • A compressed air system with lead/lag pumps.

  • Two tank fill simulations, one using a pump controlled by an across-the-line starter, the other using an adjustable speed drive.

  • Two pick & place mechanisms using pneumatic actuators, one with single solenoid, two position valves, the other with double solenoid, two position valves.

  • An elevator operating between three floors.

  • Everybody’s favorite, the traffic light.

All Simulators come with a colored manual and ladder logic examples (about 80pages)
