  • Instruction/Procedure for Allen Bradley DF1 configuration HERE This is use for MicroLogix and SLC's communication from PLC to PC, thanks to Chris at www.mrplc.com for this.

  • Instruction/Procedure for Allen Bradley 1747-PIC configuration HERE This is the communication between your SCL 500, SLC 501, SLC 502 PLC and your PC, this works for our cables and all others also.

  • For everything you needed and wanted to know about programming the Allen Bradley SLC-100 and SLC-150 click HERE this also include a link to the manuals, free software and how to configure it to work with Windows XP

  • Manuals for Allen Bradley PLC's, use these with our trainers RSLogix500 Manual MicroLogix1000 Manual

1747-PCC cable

  • This is the procedure we wrote for WinXP, we test every cable we make... so we hated starting up the old and slow Win98 machine to test cables, that's when I found DosBox its very nice (and free) www.plctrainer.net/DOSBOX.pdf

  • Also read this http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showthread.php?t=40829 its from a forum that has a ton of information, this is about the PCC cable, post 30 is about the Com setting of DosBox

Siemens

We offer several types of the same cable... they all work very well, we are able to make and sell our 'generic' cable for less then the others so if you are up loading the drivers for the cables, please choose the correct one (Black color or Generic off white)

Siemens PLC S7 200 USB/PPI (this is for our generic cable)

Instruction/Procedure for our USB cables HERE (also in this procedure there is a procedure for setting up Automation Direct PLC's COM's use these also for the Siemens PC/PPI) Non-USB version of the S7-200's HERE, Setup instructions for the USB adapters, drivers USB cables HERE

Siemens PLC S7 200 USB/PPI (this is for our new black cable)

  • Drivers for our USB cables HERE On some PC's you will need to run the install twice, it will do it automatically, for communication configurations please see HERE and USB

Siemens PLC S7 300 / 400 USB/MPI

  • Drivers for our USB cables HERE On some PC's you will need to run the install twice, it will do it automatically

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi USB SC09 and SC09-FX

  • Drivers for our USB cables HERE On some PC's you will need to run the install twice, it will do it automatically

USB Adapters (for the Keyspan please go to their website) the USB adapters are the same for all of our cables generic cables (non black)

  • Setup instructions for the USB adapters www.plctrainer.net/USB_Install.pdf

  • Drivers and a nice utility for the generic USB cables HERE This one has the communication software to change the COM port numbers (ie USB to COM4, if it defaults to COM10 but you need it to be COM4 to communicate with the PLC)  See procedure above when using either set of drivers, if you used the supplied drivers and software that came with you cable then reload it with this driver as its a better driver.

  • This is the newest drivers for our generic USB adapters www.plctrainer.net/GenericDriversUSB.zip

PCMCIA to Serial card

  • Drivers for the PCMCIA - Serial card HERE

  • This is the setup procedure for the PCMCIA - Serial card HERE
